NITROGEEZERS > Rick Rogers was just a tick behind Murry on his opening pass, another 6.17.

NITROGEEZERS > Jason Richey burns them in real good then ran a strong 6.01 to lead the field at that point in qualifying.

NITROGEEZERS > Another spectacular burnout, this one by Sean Bellemeur. The first "5" of the meet soon followed as Sean ran 5.99/246 on the pass.

NITROGEEZERS > Terry Cox didn't have it all together yet in "Cheetah III," turning only 6.28 on this pass.

NITROGEEZERS > Mendy Fry had handling issues opposite Cox and lifted early to only a 6.39.

NITROGEEZERS > Jim Murphy ran a nice 6.13 on this pass, placing him mid-pack among the 16 qualifiers at round's end.

NITROGEEZERS > Murphy at close range during his first qualifying pass.

NITROGEEZERS > "Nitro Thunder" is invariably a top contender and Brett Harris put it near the head of the pack with a 6.01 clocking his first pass.

NITROGEEZERS > "Fugowie" lifted the blower at the top end on Friday's run and Howard Haight coasted across the finish line with a 6.15.
