NITROGEEZERS > Tools are set up and prep work was already underway Thursday afternoon on Ernie McLain's "Mill Road Boys" Top Fueler from Delaware.
NITROGEEZERS > First thing on Friday morning we found the defending-champ "High Speed Motorsports" Top Fueler out of the box and getting checked over by the team.
NITROGEEZERS > Don Trasin was setting up his display site in the pits. Once again his "cacklecar" reproduction of the Tom McEwen "English Leather" Corvette Funny Car as reconstructed by Pat Foster was a wonderful sight for sore eyes.
NITROGEEZERS > Just as beautiful as the day it emerged from Foster's shop three years ago is Trasin's "other cacklecar," the fabulous "Jade Grenade" dragster reproduction.
NITROGEEZERS > Ted Guth's superlative restoration of Roland Leong's "Hawaiian" Dodge Charger made it's public debut at last year's CHRR and it's first NHRR appearance at this event.
NITROGEEZERS > The Barnes & Gladstone fuel dragster has participated at every NHRR, with fire-ups in the pits and appearance on track during the Cacklefest.
NITROGEEZERS > The Gassers took the track early on Friday. Danny Mann in "Mr. Crude" takes on Dan Stortz driving the Willys pickup.
NITROGEEZERS > Wonder where Ken Kapper came up with a name like that for his Henry J Geezer Gasser?
