NITROGEEZERS > Reminding of the California cars that used to come east for the NHRA Nationals, the Airoso Bros.gasser is now run by Ron Normann from Hebron, IL.
NITROGEEZERS > Steve Timoszyk was another early arrival from Michigan with his restored "Prock & Howell" flip-top gasser already set up on display. This car would participate in Cacklefest on Saturday evening.
NITROGEEZERS > The "Midnight Oil Garage" Willys was another car competing in the Geezer Gasser division that we hadn't seen before. Larry McLendon brought it to NHRR from Summerfield, FL .
NITROGEEZERS > Brian Blasey returned for another NHRR with this Geezer Gasser entry from Hawthorn Woods, IL.
NITROGEEZERS > The "Parr Automotive" altered is an historic car still making passes. It's absolutely period-correct in appearance with the exception of the cage.
NITROGEEZERS > Red Greth brought the famous, "Speed Sport" fuel modified roadster all the way from Tucson, AZ for its first appearance at the event. This is the original car, folks, dating to the '50s!
NITROGEEZERS > The former record-holder looks innocent enough, but fire her up on the customary load of nitro and "Old Noisy" delivers a bark out the rear pipe array that is unique and unforgettable. ( And LOUD!!!)
NITROGEEZERS > Freddie Green's record-holding shoebox was one of the historic gasser originals on display for the first time at NHRR, and also participated in the Cacklefest.
