Jerry Ruth looked right at home in his old Top Fueler. Bucky Austin purchased the '69/70 car last year and put it in fine shape, as he has done and is in the process of doing the deed on a number of other cars. The Eagle Electric swoopy car is one and he has also obtained the "Sweet Sixteen" double inj. Chev. car of Keilland, Weiss & Verheul, which ran in Top Fuel here in the Northwest. This car was originally the Warren, Coburn & Holloway single-motored blown Chev T/F'er, bought by the afore-mentioned Renton, Wa.-based team. Wayne King says he thinks the car should be restored to the W,C&H specs, but I hear that Bucky will do the two-motored deal. Hey, it's his car, he'll do what he wants to do, huh?
