NITROGEEZERS > A lotta clutch dust as they pass the tree. Williams slowed unexplainedly around half track and pulled the chute early. Thompson goes to the final with this 5.98/6.38 win.

NITROGEEZERS > Claude Lavoie warps his slicks before facing Kin Bates in thieir semi-final encounter. Two very evenly-matched cars, but Bates would reset the event low e.t. at 6.34 on his pass, while Lavoie went backwards with a losing 6.44.
