NITROGEEZERS > There's "SUBSCRIPTION drives" and then there's "subscription DRIVES." Injector looks like a gun he's pointing at us to sign up!
NITROGEEZERS > Always a pleasure to watch Ron Anzalone in the gorgeous "Teapot" Altered flex its six-cylinder muscles.
NITROGEEZERS > Another unique car the CHRR crowds love is "Flathead Jack" Shafer's twin-flathead digger on nitro! Jack Harris was doing (appropriately) "double-duty" driving this exhibition car as well as another ride in Top Fuel.
NITROGEEZERS > "Sheriff Jack" runs the fuel Henry's out of town on a rail. The car turns low-eights at around 175 mph!
NITROGEEZERS > There was a short field for A/Fuel at this year's race so Nick Norton had no problem qualifying. He did have a problem with a redlight in round 1 though that stopped him cold.
NITROGEEZERS > There's a blown-alky hemi in there somewhere behind the hoses, tubes, wires and other paraphenalia on Ron Attebury 's A-Fueler.
NITROGEEZERS > The Genco family A-Fueler was among the few retaining the "traditional" look of low-positioned driver, tube front axle, etc. Sweet!
NITROGEEZERS > Claude Lavoie proudly wears #1 on the side of his A-Fueler and earnestly went about showing how he earned that.
NITROGEEZERS > Cory Lee in the middle of a long, smoky burnout in "Pandemonium" opposite Jess Tyree (out of frame). Exhibition match races like this are a popular feature at the reunion.
