NITROGEEZERS > 1965 - Arlington WA. KPR Chevy car racing Red Gobel. Frank Rupert was driving the KPR Chevy car because the next round was the KPR Chrysler with Gary Parmenter driving. It was a problem sometimes to have a two car team and only one driver.

NITROGEEZERS >  Russ Griffith Photo taken in 1963 at Pacific Raceways. This car was the second in a series of light weight unblown fuelers. The engine is a 376 cu. in Chevy and the car was direct drive live rear axle 92 inch wheelbase and all the Nitro available. This car ran 8.40 and over 180 unblown

This was the third chassis built in the Krohn Shop 150" w/b and 354 Chrysler power an Nitro.
NITROGEEZERS > Pacific Raceways. This is the second chassis built in the Krohn shop after it was lengthened from 92" w/b to 130" w/b When the car was short it had a tendency to lift the front end and turn right. All the pit hot shots said it needed a differential. We took it home and brought it out a week later lengthened and it ran straight as an arrow. This is a Russ Griffith photo that was miss marked as a Verheul Weiss car. The year was 1963 before anyone had coined the term JR fueler. This car was very competitive in top fuel any where it ran in the Northwest running under 8,50 and 180 mph it beat many Blown Chrysler Gas and Fuel cars
